Jour de Fête (1949)

In a quaint French village, the annual fair disrupts the quiet routine of François, the bumbling postman whose dedication to his bicycle-bound deliveries is only matched by his naïveté. The villagers playfully mock François, pushing him to watch a newsreel showcasing the modern efficiency of the American postal service. Fueled by a mix of pride and too much wine, François embarks on a comically absurd mission to revolutionize his delivery methods.
