Tom Storey

Tom Storey is an British director, filmmaker and writer. His first film was a local short film filmed in Nottingham - Mr Lonesome (2019) - and aimed to raise awareness of loneliness in the elderly but in a heartfelt drama, eliminating the usual cliché of loneliness. The film's official first screening premiere managed to raise over £270 for the local charity Age UK Derbyshire. Alongside working on independent short films and working as a freelancer, Tom works as a Canon Product Specialist, supporting all of the major photography and videography events throughout the UK and Europe. Tom has worked on various projects as a production assistant/camera op with TV crews such as Channel 5 and Derby County Football Club. His most recent job was as a boom operator/runner for a Channel 5 factual TV show.
