Brisolia Herrera

Elba Brisolia Herrera Cartes was born March 24, 1924 in Concepción, Chile. She was an actress of theater, cinema, radio theater and poet. Was one of the founders of the Teatro de la Universidad de Concepción, TUC, and the Teatro Caracol (1976-1989). Brisolia began his theatrical career in 1945 with the work of Federico García Lorca, had a long and successful career. In 1959 received the "Laurel de Oro" and "Premio de Teatro" awards. In 1963 the "Premio Municipal de Arte" (Municipal Art Award) and in 2007 the "Premio Regional de Arte y Cultura" (Regional Prize of Art and Culture). Brisolia died on August 15, 2011 in Concepción, Chile.
