Eulalia Montero

Singer who turned briefly into a capable movie actress during the early 1950's. Her best remembered film is "Rostro al mar" (1951), but she also had a strong presence in "Hay un camino a la derecha" (1954) which won an award at the San Sebastian Film Festival the following year. Miss Montero was residing in Barcelona when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer in 2005. Since she had never married and had no children, her relatives placed her at an Alzheimer facility in her native city of Bilbao where she passed away four years later.
