Freedom Memories (2022)

Longtime friends Lau Tak-wing (Dickson Yu) and Chai Hing-chau (Karl Ting) are so eager to be admitted into the Artist Training Program that they push each other to their physical limits. In their dogged pursuit for stardom, the pair is joined by Keung Chi-ngan (Tiffany Lau), who was the first runner-up for Miss Hong Kong, and actress/showbiz baby Wan Chor-yue (Joey Thye), among others, on their journey towards living their dreams. Unfortunately, Hing-chau struggles to fulfill his ambitions but it's not for a lack of trying as he's constantly passed over for impact roles. Meanwhile, Tak-wing becomes an overnight sensation with his most recent role. As their career trajectories go in different directions, their paths continue to inexplicably intersect. As life would have it, their love lives would also take a turn. Tak-wing always has the biggest crush on Chi-ngan's elder sister Keung Chi-yin. Eventually, he realized his true feelings is with Chi-ngan all along. When Hing-chau finally gets his break with his slapstick comedy routine, his career skyrockets but his relationship with Chor-yue becomes as fragile as ever. To make matters even worse, a feud over contract renewals push Tak-wing and Hing- chau to the tipping point of ending their friendship..
