Series about the Kaufhaus des Westens department store and Eldorado nightclub in the 1920s in Berlin. In these places the lives of Hedi, Fritzi, Harry and Georg intersect. The takeover of power by the National Socialists is casting its shadow: There are no loans for "Jewish" companies like the Kaufhaus des Westens.
