Ranjish (2016)

13 July, 2011 -- Akanksh Kulkarni, an IPS officer, lost his entire world to the three bomb blasts that rocked the city of Mumbai. Already bereft of a family, Akansh is further shattered when his wife (Priyani) and about to be born child die in the attack. Four years later, while the world has forgotten that accident in the shroud of 11-July train bombings and 26/11 attacks, Akansh is still living a life of despondency and solitude. His best friend and senior journalist, Tanmay, takes him out for a drive, hoping to help Akansh cope with the grief. And then, they suddenly come across a young married couple -- Riyaaz and Salma. For reasons unknown to them, Riyaaz and Salma end up being on the receiving end of Akansh's angst, who uses the power bestowed in him by his profession to harass the couple. While Salma implores, Riyaaz protests and Tanmay intervenes, Akansh vents his anger, unduly suspecting them of potential antisocial elements. What will be the culmination of this freak accident that devolves into the worst nightmare for a young innocent couple? How far will Akansh go to avenge his loss?
