Svoy - chuzhoy (2009)

Firefighter Matvey and Olga had been together for quite some time and were planning a wedding until one day everything changed abruptly. During a fire in one of Moscow houses, Matvey rescues a little kid Boris, whose parents burn to death. Colleagues assume Matvey now must take care of him. Matvey wholeheartedly gets attached to the boy, but Olga cannot accept his love for someone else's child. It is this case that will help the main characters learn much more about each other than they learned for all the years spent together. Will they then be able to continue the relationship and accept Boris into the family, or will he remain a stranger to them?
