Episode 2's opening sequence follows Pamela Rooke as she rides a bike around town and takes a train top less while wearing a see-through PVC coat with black leather knickers and thigh high stockings. Her bare breasts are clearly visible. This goes on for nearly 5 minutes.

Episode 3: Steve and Chrissie make love completely nude and in various positions. Bare breasts and bare male buttocks can be seen the whole time. 43 seconds. From 9:00 to 9:43.

Lots of fighting

A man attempts to steal musical equipment following a concert and is beaten up by the police who ambush him.

Sid Vicious self-harms by cutting his chest with a broken bottle on stage.

High amount of profanity. Almost every scene of dialogue contains at least a few offensive words.

Cunt is said frequently because the characters are British.

The Sex Pistols are initially called The Swankers. A running gag is characters mistakingly calling them The Wankers.

Use of so much foul language, most of it British slang, every episode including "fuck", "shit", "tosser", "piss", "sod", etc.

A man asks a woman if she has any speed. She gives him some drugs and he leaves.

The series is set in a society where heavy cigarette smoking was not merely normal and socially acceptable but was considered cool. Many of the main characters smoke cigarettes constantly.

2 characters are heroin addicts, graphic use/consumption is seen

Many party scenes throughout the series feature characters consuming large amounts of alcohol.

While the show has a lot of comedic moments in it, the overall plot touches on intense themes of child abuse, class struggle, and drug addiction. Sid Vicious's erratic and problematic antics also result in a series of misfortunes and tragedy.
