Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman (2016)

Sharda is a self-made woman and a single mother, who raised two exceptionally competent daughters Meghna and Naina. Despite having been born and raised in the modest backdrop of Bundi, Rajasthan, Meghna and Naina didn't let where they come from dictate where they could go, and keeping this diktat in mind, marked their footprints on the sands of success whilst upholding the values passed on by their mother. Sharda couldn't be more proud of her daughters and like every mother, Sharda too wished to see her daughters well settled in their personal lives. When a progressive and well respected family from Rajasthan seemed like the ideal family for Meghna to marry into, Sharda's search is over, but is the family truly deserving of her daughter's worthiness? As fate would have it, Naina too ends up marrying into the same family and slowly everyone realizes shocking truths and things are no longer as hunky dory as they might otherwise appear. Will her daughters be able to sustain their successful marriages without losing their identity and dignity? Will this in-turn affect the close-knit bond that Meghna and Naina share with each other and their beloved mother?
