John Lackland seemed to have it all--money, security, well-off social status--yet he was unable to enjoy his hectic jetset life. Feeling hemmed in by city life and the stress of his job, John threw it all away to move to the tiny South Pacific island of Amura, where he lived the life of a beachcomber, and became involved in the lives and problems of others.
