Pastures of the Blue Crane (1969)

After her father dies, feisty Melbourne teenager Rhyll Mereweather discovers a family property and estranged grandfather she never knew existed. She moves to the run-down family property on the north coast of New South Wales (Australia) with her grandfather and together they begin a new life of rural adventure. She realises that she must work hard to save the farm and is shocked to discover much more about her past than she bargained for.
