A selection of 5 dancers and teachers, along with jack-in-the-box like warm-coloured puppet Chatterbox and hand-shaped green-and-purple alien puppet Jup-Jup star in the Australian-and US-produced High-Five, a fun, musical, more modern take on classy pre-school shows like Sesame Street; complete with catchy music and plenty of fun. Revolving around a weekly topic, each show has a song of the week that runs at the beginning and end of the show, along with other segments that revolve around physical activity, early reading skills, problem-solving, music, simple maths skills, and cooperation; with a short story at the end that all of the cast members perform together. All of the different segments are intended to help relate to children's different learning styles, all complete with fun, catchy, and upbeat music that kids will want to sing and dance along too. An entertaining mixture of learning, music, and fun; Hi-5 helps preschoolers explore the world around them while also learning to how to express themselves creatively, cooperate with others, and begin to form basic social and educational skills - such as friendships, counting, spelling, and imagination.
