Depictions of slaves being raped.

Since it is set in ancient Rome, following along the lives of Gladiators there is a high amount of brutality and blood loss. The blood and gore is usually CGI but it is also very realistic due to the gritty battles and ruthless killings.

Many slaves are seen beaten and whipped, due to disrespect.

Gladiators use many deadly weapons to brutally murder their foes.

A gladiator is seen having his head cut in half by a sword and fall to the floor a few yards away. You can see much blood and the inside of his head where the strike occurred.

A man is stabbed in the mouth with a spear and his jaw is hacked off. This is shown in closeup and in slow motion. Extremely gruesome and gory.

There are many uses of "fuck" and "cock", usually referring to a penis.

"Shit", "bitch", "ass", and "bastard" are sometimes said.

"Cunt" is uttered a few times as well as seen in Subtitles of a foreign Gladiator.

Many men and women drink wine in celebratory occasions.

Two women are seen consuming Opium which is a strong drug, and are seen delusional later on.

There are a lot of depictions of Gory and Brutal Gladiator battles.

Slaves are beaten and whipped and are shown in pain.

One main character Batiatus is shown beaten brutally and being peed on afterward. He is shown having bruises and cuts the day after.

One Gladiator is forced to have sex with a female slave in public, who is married to the Gladiator's friend. This scene is highly emotional and tense.
