McCoy is an old fashioned cop with contempt for authority and a love of Kung Fu. Constantly being on suspension doesn't keep his boss, The Chief, from calling him in and partnering him up with another reluctant hero to get the job done. Stereotypes galore, story formulas mocked and exploitation exploited in this absurd comedy - each of the four episodes presented is its own unique stand alone with its own theme: The Oriental Express, The English Connection, Big and Black and Eye for an Eye.Matchstick McCoy presents a world that mixes the various exploitive genres from Kung Fu films, Blaxploitation, classic Bond, and good old American television action into a humorous spoof.
