Spécial cinéma (1974)

Airing weekly for more than twenty years on the main French language TV-channel in Switzerland (Télévision Suisse Romande), "Spécial Cinéma" remains one of TSR's most iconic shows. It began on September 25, 1974 and ended in 1995. With this program, producer, writer and host/presenter Christian Defaye was able to popularize cinema in all its forms (from blockbusters to independent productions) in French-speaking Switzerland. He interviewed the biggest names in film, directors and actors, from Luchino Visconti to Henri Verneuil, from Jean-Luc Godard to Alain Delon, without forgetting American movie stars like Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Robert Redford or Clint Eastwood.
