-'Music-Hall des jeunes', from 1963 to 1980, was one of the most popular programs in the history of Télé-Métropole. It's very concept would guarantee its success: young people from 4 to 15 years old would come on the show to sing, dance, or perform a unusual feat in front of the camera and the TV audience. Inevitably, TV viewers were captivated by these charming youngsters bursting with talent and candour. At first, the program was called 'Les jeunes talents Catelli', in reference to the show's sponsor. It later bore the name 'Music-Hall Catelli' (1966-67) and 'École du Music-Hall' (1976 to 1979). Several artists succeeded one another as host of this program. The first was Anita Barrière (1963), followed by Joël Denis who was accompanied by the legendary Églantine. Then came Paolo Noël who welcomed the gifted young performers for several years (1967-1973). After Paolo's celebrated stint, Joël Denis came back for another spin before yielding his spot to André Richard (the renowned Fanfan Dédé) and finally, Pierrette Boucher (1979-1980).
