Grasp (2017)

Lea, middle-aged woman in hospital, is packing her stuff to go back home. She gets a package from Chloe who she doesn't recognize, it's a catalog. Feeling the name Chloe is familiar, she starts to read the catalogue realizing there is her ex-boyfriend Kevin's work who is now dead. Kevin was a young artist in NYC and Lea's most loved one. She was happy with his devotional love towards her and his talent as an artist. From since they were together she had supported him in every way, as a supporter and a lover. The more she loves him, the more she feels anxious. Her dark childhood memory with her stepmother who had a mental cruelty left her a deep wound. Sometimes she suffered from auditory hallucination that her stepmother used to tell her. "See- nobody could ever love you". She was getting better after she struck out on herself, but she still struggles with obsession about relationships. And it turns into her being try to control Kevin in many ways. Kevin's friend Chloe's sudden appearance and their deep friendship triggered Lea to doubt Kevin's love endlessly. Her disbelief is now at the highest point. "See- nobody could ever love me".
