50th Annual Pig Bowl/Guns & Hoses Charity Football (2024)

In the historic longest-running charity football game of its kind, Sacramento's 50th annual Pig Bowl featured the Sacramento Law Hogs defeating the Sacramento Fire Dogs 27-13 before approximately 10,000 fans in a game broadcast live by Access Sacramento. Pig Bowl Hall of Fame broadcasters Walt Gray, Doug Kelly and Greg Coauette were joined by Kevin John for coverage of the original Pig Bowl, which was replicated across the country for years. The charity football event has raised more than $1.7-million over its history for non-profit groups including the Sacramento, CA burn institute, youth activities and other fire or police supporting charities.
