About the Stupni Do massacre October 23, 1993 executed by a force from the Croatian Republic of Herceg-Bosna Army HVO under the command of Ivica Rajic. The soldiers killed 37 Bosniak (Bosnian Muslim) residents. Women were raped and some of the men were subjected to torture. All of those who were murdered had been shot or burned to death and the village's residential buildings were set on fire. The Swedish UN soldiers in Bosnia could not prevent a horrific massacre in the village of Stupni Do. A strong need for revenge awoke within the individual soldiers. The Swedes wanted to shoot the HVO villains dead. Now the UN veterans gather at the Engelen restaurant in Stockholm. Still they cannot forget how small the step can be between a soldier and a mass murderer.
