Down with the Ship (2022)

A retired nuclear weapon designer named Denis is in his apartment when air raid sirens go off. The guilt of his past actions compels him to decide to commit suicide and not leave his apartment, even though emergency announcements urge him to go to the shelter. Denis throws out his key and tries to enjoy his final moments of life when his daughter arrives and tries to convince him to leave. But in doing so, the daughter ends up throwing out her own key and sealing both of their fates to die with the nuclear attack.
