Tatya is a mentor to his village who is present for any kind of occasion in the village to provide his helping hand. All the females in the village have a close bond with him. The village elections are due and the current MLA Buntya Dada Karde Patil again has the chance to get elected but as per government rules the current MLA should be a female and he decides to choose his wife Sailee Patil as contender.Daily life of villagers is going well in backdrop of preparations of elections but suddenly a bad news comes that Jabbar Anna has passed away.Jabbar Anna was the most respected person in village once he was working in Mumbai in a mill and had good an respected job and gave jobs to several villagers in his mill but currently was bed ridden.Due to his death the scenario in village changes to mark him as a respect as per the tradition the villagers have to mourn for 13th days which puts stand still to their daily lives.Tatya who was there to conduct whole funeral rites with Jabbar Anna's sons Pakya and Maruti enters the picture and gives solution that mourning for 13 days was possible earlier as people lived for each other but now its difficult as the time has changed and people are busy within their selves.The mourning is done withing five days after which Pakya and Maruti decide to divide their ancestral property and settle in their lives but Jabbar assures their mother that he wont let it happen.
