The Brink of Dreams (2024)

In a village in southern Egypt, a group of young women create an all-female street theater club, with the aim of expressing their opinions and performing plays inspired by Saidi folklore in the streets. Driven by the desire to be actresses, dancers and singers, they rebel against family mandates and patriarchal norms. Filmed over four years, this documentary follows them in their quest for freedom as women.
