The Forbidden Desert of the Danakil (1973)

Retraces the 1934 journey made by explorer Wilfred Thesiger tracing the course of the previously uncharted Awash River in the Danakil desert of Ethiopia and looks at the life of the Danakil people. Thesiger recollects his own experiences.
