Godless Children (2024)

Theresa "TeTe" Nerz receives a startling visit from Meghan Duffy, a teen who is armed with DNA proof that they have a parental connection. Meghan is quickly dismissed when TeTe informs her of a long-suffering diagnosis of infertility. However, upon discovering a shared birthmark, TeTe reflects on past trauma and a secret stay on a maternity ward that prompts her to join the investigation, while hiding it from her wife Heather. The search quickly uncovers a non-profit 'Godless Children', a past connection with a fertility doctor, while concurrently a dark figure preforms nefarious actions in a shadowy basement. While Meghan starts to become suspicious of the growing generosity of her new confidant Ms. Hummel, TeTe thinks she has finally uncovered the truth. Unfortunately, these half-truths lead TeTe to wake up in a foggy reality and an encounter that she would never expect.
