Killer Queen

Killer Queen is a campy 90's horror comedy. We start off in the glitzy pageant world in 1985 and then transition to a 1995 breakfast club-like environment. In this heartwarming and heart-stopping film, we explore how our preconceived notions and personal history hinder us from growing. The story features typical high school stereotypes that poke fun at old high school movies. Later, we find out that these characters are deeply rooted in honesty and sincerity, making these characters dynamic and lovable. This film stars mainly women and LGBTQ characters, but in an effort to normalize these types of stories in the media, we have chosen not to make a story about women and LGBTQ people but with them. This is not a story pushing a narrative but normalizing one through the means of comedy, horror, relationships, and spectacle.
