Acacia - Kate Sissons; A young punk-rock musician, moves into a dilapidated rectory and becomes the caretaker after the death of its Vicar - John Stahl. What at first appears to be good fortune becomes disturbing as winter sets with a broken boiler. Strange noises emanate from the eves; sleep is as inadequate as heat, but the fireplaces appear auspicious. Her dreams reflect her experiences and that of 'history', as her abusive boyfriend - Burnal - Stephen D-Arcy and their vices; lead to a meltdown and confrontation with her divided self and her possible pregnancy. As the house takes on parts of her personality, we follow her as she confronts male domination, god and visions of identity.
