It Came from Above (2018)

A lonesome farmer, with a love for science fiction and fantasy, discovers a mysterious alien in the forests near his home. Hoping for a dream encounter and profound experience, he is instead confused when the being completely disregards him and frantically raids his house for mechanical parts and supplies, building some kind of machine. Before the farmer can attempt to communicate, he discovers his dog brutally mauled. Strange sounds from the forest indicate that this alien wasn't alone, and that it might be running from something much more terrifying. The two retreat back into the forest as this supernatural beast closes in. After completing its machine, the alien silently acknowledges the farmer, right before being consumed by the beast, a giant screeching mass of darkness. The two celestial beings disappear in a blinding flash of light, leaving the farmer alone with only questions and fear.
