Sister (2022)

In post-Civil War Texas, Lena Moore arrives to visit her sister, only to find that she has been viciously murdered by her alcoholic husband. In an act of vengeance, Lena sets a trap to lure her brother-in-law into, and ends up coming face to face with death herself. Aurelia (the family's maid) steps in and saves Lena's life in the final hour by killing the brother in law. Now the women must work together to try and cover up their murder - all while outsmarting the Sheriff and his rangers. Until finally, there's no where left to turn, and Lena is forced to make the ultimate sacrifice.
