Der Liebeskrieg (2019)

In 1980s East Berlin, the Stasi have removed emotion from the human body. "Love Vigilantes" like Martin take drugs to feel human emotion and are interrogated, beaten and tortured by Stasi Commander Leere, a recovered "love addict." When Martin has flashes of emotion without his love drugs, he pursues an undeniable connection with a female Stasi officer.
