EMILY has been the mother to her addict mother SUE all her life. After Emily finds out she's pregnant, she makes the decision to leave her mother and start a new life with her boyfriend Josh. Unfortunately Sue has other ideas. Despite her anger towards Emily, she relies heavily on her to help make her life bearable. A fight breaks out between the two and Sue attacks Emily. Nearly killing her unborn baby. As a result Emily is left with the choice. Do I stay and repeat the abusive cycle that is her family? Or is there another merciful way to find her freedom?
