Ira, a traveller to the land of gods, meets her alter ego, Ares. She writes a letter narrating her experiences in the city of Athens as though a reflection of her soul, upon having met with her angels and demons. Dear Athens reads like a conversation about how history is portrayed in the present, how to discover the meaning of love, how art could be the salvation to self-destruction, how to find the strength to fight alone, and eventually how to accept everything as a circle of life. Yet, there is more than what meets the eye until the end.
