Firebrand (2023)

Based on the novel by Elizabeth Fremantle, this psychological horror film is set in the 15th century, as it revisits the Tudor court of England's infamous Henry VIII, but from the perspective of the queen consort, Catherine Parr, who was his sixth and last wife. The film, the first feature film in english by brazilian Karim Aïnouz, scripted by Henrietta and Jessica Ashworth (screenwriters of the "Killing Eve" series), is an absorbing portrait of a terrifying and turbulent era.
