Journey to the Dream (2018)

Suddenly through Giorgos Messalas' life, the history of modern Greek Theater started passing before our eyes. He was the assistant and personal friend of some of the most important theatre masters, like Alexis Minotis and Alexis Solomos. He participated in all major tours of the National Greek Theater to USA, Russia, China, Japan, France, Belgium and Yugoslavia. He wanted to dive into culture - to become a better person - to "make other people better" by realizing Alexis Minotis' saying that "as an actor you must learn to bring the people on stage instead of going down to the audience yourself". "Theater is for the people" was his basic idea and this is what he did .Giorgos Mesalas hides his own special world, which we got to know better during our research, by listening to important people storyings ,and developing a close relationship, for at least a year; the time needed for the shooting and processing of the archive.
