So Long and Good Night (2022)

Serena Gonzalez, 24, dealing with anxiety and depression, as she tries to cope with the fact that Maya, her younger sister has terminal cancer. Serena and Maya are so close to each other, that they finish each other's thoughts and sentences. The thought of losing Maya is devastating and scary for Serena. Serena works extra hours to raise enough money for Maya's treatment. Serena doesn't want to accept that Maya is terminal because losing her will be like losing herself. Serena will try anything to keep her sister from dying. Maya has always helped Serena work through her depression and anxiety. Serena in turns has watched over her and taken somewhat of a motherly role to Maya, since their mother, Ella, abandoned them. One day, Maya tells Serena the blue pendant necklace she wears, was their late grandmother's and that she was destined to have it. Shortly after Maya has a set back and Serena can't emotionally and mentally handle it. As Serena tries to forget the day, she is attacked and must overcome her fears to save herself.
