Hugo Zuccarelli discovered how hearing works. The irony is almost no one has ever heard of him. This is the story of a man who understood sound and by doing so amused such talents as Roger Waters, Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson, by creating holophonics, a three-dimensional audio system that might just be the best sound system around. And yet, the industry has yet to adopt it or even recognize it. The reason for it might just be that the world (or current mainstream industry) isn't ready yet for holophonics, or maybe that its creator is right: there are some powerful forces that don't want you to experience this. Throughout this documentary Zuccarelli explains his theory, remembers the many times he almost got it right with the powers that be, and fights for everyone to get to know the one thing he believes that needs to be out there: the whole truth about sound.
