Bridges Burning (2020)

Loosely based on the story of the Prodigal Son, Bridges Burning is the story of a strong-willed woman named Rae who has hit rock bottom. She comes out of jail with nothing but a plan to recover the stolen money she hid before she was arrested so she could give it to her parents as payment for everything she owes them. The only person in her way is her Ex-boyfriend/girlfriend who intends on getting that money for themselves. Rae manages to get the money and deliver it to her parents, but they are not interested in it. They want their daughter back but Rae isn't ready for that. When her Ex shows up to claim the money for themselves, the family must band together and it is in that act where Rae is reminded of her parents' unconditional love.
