Several pupils from Romania, Poland and Germany meet for ten days in the former concentration camp Buchenwald to research the history of the Sinti and Roma Holocaust. What do they know about the centuries long discrimination against Sinti and Roma in their home countries? The film uses no archival footage, and reconstructs the past with the emptiness of the few remaining traces of the former concentration camp Buchenwald. The past is also presented through testimonies of Holocaust survivors, engagement with archaeological objects, and statements from marginalized and discriminated against Sinti and Roma migrants in contemporary Germany and Poland.
