Return to Pennsic (2013)

Captain Zorikh has been a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism for over 25 years and helped produce a documentary twenty years ago. "Simply the Best" G.A. West is his friend, a pro wrestler, fitness professional, and life coach who never thought he had any interest in anything about medieval culture, combat or recreation. Together they go to the 40th Pennsic war to see what it is all about, what has changed, what has stayed the same, if Captain Zorikh can still compete in medieval-style armored combat, and what a pro wrestler and life coach can get pout of such an experience. This binocular view of the event provides a unique set of perspectives from which to explore and experience the Modern Middle Ages.
