The Poet, Sayat Nova

This movie is a beautiful love-story about an 18th century poet and a noble lady in love who lived their lives next to each-other but never had the chance to be together. When they were young they were separated by other pursuits, in adulthood they were separated by the social hierarchy, she was the queen and he was a poet and songwriter, after the king died she was sent to a nunnery and he became a monk where they were separated by faith. Even though they lived to be very old they never could be together. After all, the poet asked to be buried next to her which was highly illegal because she was the queen but his disciple were able to do it.
