Andrey Zvyagintsev. The Director (2017)

Originally intended to be "a film about a film", the movie is a portrait of the director Andrey Zvyagintsev against the background of shooting the most dramatic episodes of his Loveless (2017). In front of Rudakov's camera Zvyagintsev appears both as "a wonderful kid" looking for a truly childish miracle in the frame and as a brilliant chess player, who works out millions of variants of events in the frame choosing the best ones.
