SleepLess (2019)

All 8 volunteers arrive at the test centre wearing supplied smartwatches - to prove they'd been awake for the past 24 hours. Completely knackered, they are greeted by Dr.Ovid and Dr Crowe, who present them each with a pill. Half an hour after taking it, they all became extremely alert. After some physical tests and some questions, the test subjects spend the night in the test centre. The next morning, they are given another, stronger dose. As the second day wears on, everyone becomes slightly intoxicated, quick to giggle, and hyperactive. On the third day, things take a turn for the worse when subjects become irritable and quick to change moods. Some experience strong hallucinations, several others quit the trial. On the last day, the remaining subjects are given a fourth dose. The largest dose yet by far, this grim consequences. Flip a coin. Heads, you never need to sleep again and are always at your best self. Tails, your heart stops beating in your chest.
