When digital ad-exec KAROL boasts to a room full of trainees that she knows her customers better than they know themselves, she really believes it. Only when she receives a call from recently bereaved NANCY, the very type of person her marketing is most directly aimed at, it becomes obvious she knows very little. After a series of unsuccessful follow-up calls to provide customer care, Karol realizes she must travel directly to Margate to come face to face with Nancy. It is only once they meet and spend the day together that Karol discovers Nancy knows more about her than she knew about herself.
