Mata Hari the Real Story (2019)

Mata Hari dreams, while sleeping in a prison cell, of dancing in a park. In the dream, a letter then passes between she and a stranger. Mata is then awoken by the commanding officer of the prison regiment, and the officer reads the order for Mata to be executed. While Mata dresses in preparation for her execution, regiment guards get drunk on wine. Then, with the officer leading the way, he and his regiment escort Mata to the area designated for her execution. After they arrive at the execution site, Mata stands in front of a wall where she is to be executed. Mata accepts a last cigarette from the regiment officer. The drunken guards shoot. But when the smoke clears, Mata is gone. All that is left of her is her coat, hat and cigarette. Later that day, Mata hitches a ride along a country road.
