The esoteric scene may be a bit wondrous for some. Their followers believe in the supernatural, preach love, peace, and call for a return to ancient wisdom. Most consider it as unpolitical. But are these people really as harmless in this regard as they first seem? If you look closely you will also find political content in this scene and more and more often even extreme, nationalistic, racist and anti-Semitic ideas as well as a mistrust of science. The mindset of the scene is spread at congresses and events, but also via the so-called alternative media, so that it reaches more and more people. The documentary provides insights into this world of self-suppliers, nationalist settlers, members of the Reichsbürger scene and members of the Anastasia movement.
