Sisters (2020)

As two sisters live together to raise a little girl, it becomes burdensome for one of the sisters. Time is passing one of sisters by, and she 'wants to live and not just exist'. This dramatic short-film is a glimpse into the life of what what married and single women and mothers experience daily. The lead is in high spirits and hopeful of the future. However as the film progresses, the drama builds and she's left with a world of pain. Sisters is a story that features two African American women who have been facing life on their own for years. They have no parents. Yet in the film it is evident the bond they share is is unique to their childhood and upbringing. This is a story of Jay and Stacey titled, SISTERS.
