Friendly Ghosts (2019)

Driely "D" Carter is one of the most prominent photographers of our generation. She has photographed celebrities including Beyonce, Pharrell, Kanye and more. In this short film, captured on 16mm, Driely is in front of the camera for the first time. She opens up about her obsession with photography, her desire to be constantly evolving as an artist and the relationship she has with the photos she didn't take- the demons that haunt her, her "friendly ghosts."
