Tour du Togo (2020)

"Why shouldn't it be possible to make a change with every single bike ride?" Getting closer to the local people - this is the goal of Embrace the World Cycling, a German cycling team participating in exceptional cycling races worldwide. This year's "Tour du Togo" is coming up, presenting the entire diversity of the West African country. Embrace the World Cycling wants to be at the top of the tour. But sporting ambition is paired with social commitment. Supporting African cyclists by donating clothes and spare parts is equally important. Facing many obstacles such as missing teammates or street barricades, the riders of ETW keep fighting for their dream of winning the tour. Will they succeed? For cycling enthusiasts, this one-hour documentary film is a unique opportunity to experience the unusual sporting event at first hand and to also support the vision of Embrace the World Cycling.
