During a college function Daulatrao Patil comes across Kirti and falls for her but Kirti loves Jairam a boy from lower caste.a fellow college student and spotlit brat Chaggan tries to woo Kirti while his father Amrut Sheth two fantasies her.Jairam then takes Kirti to his village to save from Chaggan and Amrut Sheth but Patil belongs to the same village and hates the lower caste as his wife Parvati died while saving a boy from their caste.The reason Patil is attracted towards Kirti is that she resembles his dead wife Parvati.
