Afasia (2021)

Afasia is the story of the growth of the love story between Max, a street musician, and Agathe, in a dystopian future in which words have become a consumer good and each has a counter that marks how many are left: Agathe has many and Max few. Through past and present the signs of this obstacle between them increase and the protagonist decides to ask the young girlfriend to marry him, but - having realized the impossibility of giving her what she deserves - she changes her mind and says goodbye. She is unwilling to accept it without fighting.
